We had the privilege of meeting Vincent Valat, the Frenchman nicknamed the “Wolf of Monaco,” for an exclusive interview where he reveals his life, ambitions, and extraordinary daily routine.
Few people know him in France or the United States, yet he conducts business across the globe. A talented investor, Vincent Valat stands behind some of Monaco’s most prestigious events, including those at the Wolf Club. For our delight, he agreed to open the doors to his unique world.

Where are you originally from in France?
I’m from Nîmes.
Are you attached to your hometown? Do you visit often?
Nîmes is very important to me; it’s where my roots are. I love its culture and history. The city was a province under Caesar, and the Maison Carrée is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The arenas are also a must-see. However, I rarely visit now due to my commitments in Monaco.
Did you grow up in a family connected to finance or investments?
Not at all. My parents were primary school teachers.
When did you decide to settle in Monaco?
Since I was young, Monaco attracted me: its climate, stability, and Mediterranean economy. It was the ideal environment to work. Today, I am proud to promote the attractiveness of this country, which gave me my chance about ten years ago.
How long have you been living in Monaco?
I’ve been coming to Monaco for over 25 years—we used to vacation with my parents in Villefranche-sur-Mer and visit Monaco to see the beautiful cars. I established my companies here nearly ten years ago.

Are you single?
Yes, I am separated and a proud father of a wonderful little girl.
Was it a childhood dream to become an entrepreneur?
Yes, I’ve always wanted to build something with my own hands and on my own terms.
Have you had any personal inspirations?
Many. Actors, politicians, elite athletes, and people I’ve met throughout my life. Each one taught me something and helped shape who I am today.
Can we say you built yourself from scratch?
Yes, my path is the result of personal effort and determination.
Have you faced difficulties in your journey?
Like every entrepreneur, I’ve encountered obstacles and setbacks. It’s never a smooth ride! But maintaining motivation, smiling, and not taking myself too seriously helped me overcome challenging times.
When was the Wolf Club created?
The Wolf’s Club Monaco was created to bring together an elite network through exclusive experiences and prestigious meetings in Monaco. The idea came a few years ago, but the official launch was on July 5, 2024.
Where did the idea come from?
I wanted to give back to Monaco what the Principality had given me earlier in my career: a chance. Creating unique experiences here allows people from around the world to meet and discover Monaco’s appeal. With over 3,500 members, including more than 20 billionaires and 350–400 multimillionaires, I knew it was worth it.
Why is it called the “Wolf’s Club”? Do you like wolves?
The Wolf’s Club is named after my nickname, “The Wolf.” The wolf symbolizes leadership, guidance, family, and loyalty. These values are at the heart of the club: every member belongs to an exclusive circle based on respect, loyalty, and strong intergenerational bonds.
Can you tell us more about the Wolf Club?
The Wolf’s Club is a private club designed to create an international network of influence and prestige while contributing to Monaco’s cultural and economic visibility. We organize partnerships, economic missions, and collaborations with other private clubs worldwide. It brings together influential figures from business, culture, and luxury. Our approach is highly personalized, offering members unique and exclusive experiences.
What has been the club’s most memorable event?
I would say our participation in the Bal de la Rose under the high patronage of the Princely Family, and our first confidential cocktail in the Hotel de Paris cellars — a monthly event held on a secret date. We were honored to welcome Camille Gottlieb and L.L.C Soler as honorary members of the club.

Do you have many American elite members?
Yes, we host influential international personalities, including members of the American elite. One of our members is a globally recognized actress based in Los Angeles.
What privileges does the club offer?
The saying “money can’t buy” perfectly describes what we offer. Being part of the Wolf’s Club allows you to experience every moment uniquely, where money is not the goal. Feeling at home in Monaco instantly is priceless.
How does one join the club?
Membership is by invitation or sponsorship. We select members based on their profile, influence, and engagement in cultural and business communities. Interested individuals can request information via our website: Wolf’s Club Monaco.
Does the club also promote Monaco in Europe and internationally?
Yes, we organize and participate in economic missions and international trips. For example, we visited Berlin to see the China Club with the Monaco Economic Board (MEB), a private association founded in 1999 to promote Monaco’s economic activity. Internationally, particularly in the U.S., we develop partnerships and events with American members to enhance Monaco’s global visibility and attractiveness.
Is your life dominated by cultural and event activities?
Absolutely. Each day brings new challenges and experiences. We participate in the Printemps des Arts and the Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival, among many others. The variety of projects ensures there’s no routine.
Are you close to Prince Albert?
We see His Serene Highness Prince Albert II regularly at events in the Principality. He is very active on many issues and was recently in New York for Climate Week with Arnold Schwarzenegger, discussing ocean protection.
Do you support any foundations?
Yes, we donate to Be Safe, chaired by Camille Gottlieb, which focuses on raising awareness and prevention of alcohol-related driving risks and provides free shuttle services at events. We also support FightAidsMonaco, the Thilo Kehrer Foundation for Burundi, and participate in charity auctions for AMADE and Fundación Unidos Por la Niñez at the Latin America Charity Ball on October 3, 2024.
