Presented by the Cherry Orchard Festival and Show One Productions, Julien Dassin—son of the legendary French-American singer Joe Dassin—is bringing his heartfelt tribute concert Salut! Julien Dassin sings Joe Dassin to audiences across North America this spring. Accompanied by the Paris Tour Eiffel Band, Dassin will perform in seven cities from May 10 to 20, 2025, offering fans of French music a nostalgic and emotionally rich experience.

The tour kicks off in New York with back-to-back shows in Brooklyn and Manhattan (May 10–11), followed by stops in Chicago (May 13), Lauderhill, Florida (May 14), Los Angeles (May 17), San Francisco (May 18), and Seattle (May 20).

Joe Dassin, born in New York and raised between America and Europe, became one of France’s most beloved performers. Deeply inspired by the American continent and its musical traditions, he created a signature blend of French chanson and American folk-pop that captivated listeners worldwide. His enduring appeal is reflected in more than 25 million records sold across the globe and in the countless artists who continue to reinterpret his songs more than four decades after his untimely death in 1980.

At the heart of the concert is Julien Dassin’s moving interpretation of his father’s iconic hits—“L’Été indien,” “Et si tu n’existais pas,” “Les Champs-Élysées,” and more. While remaining true to the spirit of Joe Dassin’s music, Julien brings his own sensitivity, contemporary touch, and musical sensibility to the stage.
