Welcome to FQM
Sophistication.
Excellence.
The Art of Living Well Through a Global Lens.
FQM, also known as French Quarter Magazine, is an international lifestyle and cultural publication read across six continents, with editorial hubs in Las Vegas and Washington, D.C. We create meaningful bridges between cultures, ideas, and refined experiences, celebrating the intersections of art, diplomacy, and intentional living.
Our name evokes Louisiana’s legacy as “a piece of France” in America and the enduring Franco-American friendship, which began with France supporting the American colonies in 1776 and formalizing the alliance in 1778 through the Treaty of Alliance during the Revolutionary War. We reference the historic French Quarter in New Orleans not as a geographic origin, but as a cultural emblem—a crossroads of heritage, artistic expression, and the joy of living beautifully. This is the ethos that guides our editorial identity—worldly, thoughtful, and deeply connected to the art of life. FQM's mission also takes on special significance as the U.S. approaches its Semiquincentennial in 2026. Inspired by historic alliances and contemporary partnerships, exemplified by collaborations with several Embassies. Culture is not a side conversation; it is the foundation of understanding, dialogue, and connection across nations.
We invite readers to explore destinations rich in culture, flavor, and inspiration—places where heritage meets creativity and where travel becomes an artful, meaningful experience. We reveal the world with discernment and elegance, celebrating a form of luxury that values authenticity, depth, and intention over excess. Our recommendations highlight exceptional dining and historic or hidden cafés, boutique fashion and design, wellness sanctuaries, and the nuances of French savoir-faire and global style. Through our Paris City E-Guide, we help readers go beyond the expected, offering insight into experiences that feel personal, memorable, and truly distinguished.
Beyond travel and lifestyle, FQM shines a light on the individuals shaping our cultural landscape: artists, diplomats, entrepreneurs, designers, scholars, and leaders in the creative and civic spheres. Through exclusive interviews, cultural diplomacy features, thought-provoking essays, and coverage of art, literature, film, and design, we offer perspectives that inspire reflection, curiosity, and connection.
With Washington, D.C. expansion, FQM strengthens its role as a platform for cultural diplomacy and global dialogue between nations. Our Founding Circle series offers an invite-only space for diplomats, cultural leaders and thinkers, and strategic partners to engage in intimate dialogue, collaboration, and creative exchange. We also support education and cultural exchange, advocating for initiatives that strengthen global understanding and community ties.
At French Quarter Magazine, sophistication is not about extravagance; it is about a cultivated sense of taste, curiosity, and the art of living beautifully, intentionally, and with heart.
French Quarter Magazine is more than a publication—it is a way of life.
Live beautifully.
Live inspired.
